Once the weight limit was increased the Shadow 2 OR became available (and allowed) that does not have any slide lightening cuts and it shoots pretty good as is. CZC plates have thicker 8-32 screws and have a lesser chance of stripping than thinner optic mounting screws. This Cajun milled Shadow 2 slide below was $125 charge to fix. Had that screw got stripped in a plate, simply replacing that plate wouldve put me 80 bucks ahead. Before sending, I emailed a ton of questions to them and all were answered very quickly with great information. I shipped the slide to them Monday before last, they got it on Wednesday and they sent me a return tracking email on Saturday. I received it back today. It took them all of a week to Mill and Cerakote the slide and get it back to me.

In the first picture you can see that the holes are very much at the outer limits of the slide and you can actually see the bolts protruding under the SRO when mounted.
