The art piece that I have decided to write an analysis on today is The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli. The Birth of Venus was created by Sandro Botticelli (c. 1486). It is a tempera on canvas and measures 67.9” by 109.6”. Botticelli created this painting for the Medici, although it is not known which Medici in particular.
